Katie Piper is a best-selling international author, inspirational speaker, TV presenter and charity campaigner.
Katie made the decision to share her story in a remarkable film for the Cutting Edge strand on Channel 4 called Katie: My Beautiful Face which was watched by over 3.5million viewers and nominated for Best Single Documentary at the BAFTA Television Awards in 2010.
Katie Piper was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2022 as part of the New Year Honours. She was recognised for her services to charity and to victims of burns and other disfigurement injuries.
She is an experienced speaker and advocate who has travelled the world sharing her story. Through her speaking engagements, she aims to empower individuals to unlock their potential, overcome challenges, and foster a mindset of growth and self-compassion.
Over ten years ago, Katie Piper set up the charity The Katie Piper Foundation to help people with burns and scars to reconnect with their lives and their communities. Simon Cowell supported Katie by becoming the patron and remains actively involved to date.
The charity’s vision is a world where scars do not limit a person’s function, social inclusion or sense of well-being and they achieved their goal to open a rehabilitation centre in the UK to offer other burns survivors the treatments that Katie received in France.
Katie hosts her own ITV1 show The Katie Piper Breakfast Show which is in its third series, is a regular panellist on ITV1’s Loose Women, and is one of the key faces of the W Channel with her hit series Katie Piper’s Jailhouse Mums.

Katie has partnered with a number of brands to create her own range of products including My Babiie to create a range of buggies, changing mats and changing bags under the range name Believe.
She is also the face of a number of beauty brands including Pantene. She has been featured in campaigns that celebrate inclusivity and diversity, using her platform to challenge traditional beauty standards and promote empowerment.
Her role as a Pantene ambassador complements her broader advocacy for self-acceptance and resilience, aligning with her personal journey of overcoming significant challenge
Katie has also written a number of bestselling books: two autobiographies Beautiful and Beautiful Ever After, an affirmations book called Start Your Day With Katie. A self-help booked called Things Get Better and Confidence: The Secret with an accompanying journal and most recently a book written with her Mum Things I’d Tell My Child.
She has launched her own imprint The UnSeen, a brand new literary imprint that’s putting those who were previously ‘unheard’ at the forefront.
Katie’s most recent affirmation book, A Little Bit of Hope was published in 2022 and her first children’s book All You Need was released in 2023 with the second book launching in 2024. She is also currently working on the screen adaption of her first book which is due to start filming in 2025.
