We were delighted to welcome Fee to the Chiswick Book Festival for the first time this year. She took part in a panel recommending
books to the 20 somethings, and then chaired a couple of brilliant events for us, promoting fresh writing talent. Fee was a delight to work with, well prepared with intelligent and thoughtful questions, and her authors enjoyed their events.
Jo James, Programme Director, Chiswick Book Festival
We were incredibly excited to host Fee on the Community Stage at this year’s Queen’s Park Book Festival. Fee chaired the event ‘Bright Stars of Black British History’ featuring the author Joanna Brown (AKA J.T. Williams) with consummate skill, to create a magical hour of groundbreaking historical literary discussion.
Hud Saunders, Community Stage Curator, Queen’s Park Book Festival
Fee was an excellent host at our Book Festival in May 2024. Her warm, enthusiastic style engaged the audience and established a rapport with her interviewee, Kirsty Capes. Fee had done her homework and asked well-informed questions which delved into the
book and Kirsty’s experience of writing it. The result was an entertaining and thought-provoking session.
Kate Miler, Festival Organiser, Herts Book Festival
Fee hosted our Business Book Awards in London and held the audience perfectly, ran through the script seamlessly and engaged positively throughout.
Kasim Choudhry, Director, Business Book Awards
From our first briefing call to the evening of the event, Fee was an absolute pleasure to work with. As a consummate professional, she connected with our audience brilliantly during the awards ceremony, perfectly reading the room and adding just the right amount of ad-libbing. The feedback from our audience survey has been overwhelmingly positive, with Fee being frequently mentioned as a fantastic host. Thank you Fee, it was a pleasure to work with you.
Danielle Gardiner, Events Manager, The Week Junior Book Awards
Fee was an absolute pleasure to work with and was a fantastic host for our Main Stage at the London Book Fair. She showed a true interest in the event and the industry, which was evident from her research and questions she used to prepare for her sessions. She was so natural and approachable, made our speakers feel at ease, and was able to get the best answers from them with her confident
approach. We’d love to work with her again in the future.
Sophia Woodall, Conference Manager, London Book Fair
Fee was great. A perfect demonstration of the art of saying just enough to drive the conversation forward whilst saying little enough to give the interviewee the space to speak and explore their ideas fully. She was really well prepared and easy to work with. So in sum, I’d love to have her back and I hope she enjoyed herself.
Susannah Stevenson, Festival Director, Canterbury Festival
Fee was such a brilliant Chair, we were really pleased with her hosting. She was warm, very knowledgeable about different subjects in the book and keen to expand and explore them with the author, and it seemed that the speaker and the audience felt safe and held by her as she was very calm. Really great and we’d love to have her back next year!
Bea Colley, Programmer, Brighton Festival
