A Summer of Standout Presenters: From Global Campaigns to Corporate Awards

15th Sep 2026

What does a successful summer look like for a professional presenter? It might mean hosting a high-profile live-stream, travelling overseas to front automotive content, moderating an international climate conference or bringing warmth and authority to an awards ceremony.

For us at Great British Presenters, this summer has been wonderfully varied. Across campaigns, conferences, podcasts, educational content and live events, our presenters have helped clients communicate with clarity, confidence and plenty of personality.

From Amazon live-streams to conferences at The Gherkin, from in-studio education projects to the Award ceremonies, the past few months have showcased the remarkable versatility of our roster. We are proud to work with talented professionals who can inform, entertain and engage audiences across every format.

Here’s just a snippet of what Great British Presenters has been up to this Summer!

Partnering with our sister-site, Great British Speakers, the summer started strongly with Mathilde Barker and Alexa Williams hosting a livestream for Neutrogena x Amazon. Live digital content requires a particular combination of confidence, responsiveness and energy. Presenters must be able to keep the audience engaged while working closely with a production team and representing major brands in a polished, natural way. Mathilde and Alexa brought those qualities to the project, helping create a professional and engaging livestream experience for viewers.

We also had a brilliant experience working with John Doe on the Echo Falls campaign, featuring GK Barry and shopping TV veteran Sarah Sealey. The project brought together recognisable personalities and experienced presenting talent in a campaign designed to capture attention and deliver its message with warmth. These projects are a reminder that presenters can play many different roles within a campaign: from live-stream host and product demonstrator to interviewer, comedic actor and trusted brand communicator.

Torie Campbell motoring presenter and live host at Great British Presenters

Meanwhile, Torie Campbell traveled to Germany to front a series of car walk around videos for a very well known car brand. Automotive presenting calls for more than an appealing on-camera presence. A successful presenter needs to communicate detailed information clearly, maintain momentum and make the subject accessible to the viewer.

Torie’s versatility made her an excellent fit for the project, demonstrating how the right presenter can bring polish and personality to branded video content, whether filming in a studio, on location or across international markets.

Our summer projects also included a memorable red-carpet assignment. Film expert and red-carpet host Anna Smith interviewed stars at the REQUIEM world premiere in London. Red-carpet presenting is fast-moving and highly visible, requiring meticulous preparation, quick thinking and the ability to build rapport in a matter of moments.

Anna’s film expertise and confident interview style made her ideally suited to the occasion. She understands how to ask thoughtful questions while keeping the atmosphere lively : an essential skill when every interaction needs to feel both professional and spontaneous.

Waseem x Matthew Blakemore Experian Great British Presenters

This summer, we also continued working with two brilliant podcasts: Connect with Experian, hosted by Waseem Mirza, and The No- Stress Podcast by Pulsetto, hosted by Abigail Ireland.

Podcasts have become an increasingly important way for organisations to communicate. They can make complex subjects feel more approachable, provide a platform for expert voices and create a more personal connection with clients, colleagues and wider audiences. A strong podcast host needs to be curious, prepared and conversational. They must know when to guide the discussion, when to allow a guest to develop an idea and how to make each episode feel purposeful.

Waseem and Abigail bring their own distinctive styles to their respective podcast projects, helping create content that feels considered, engaging and audience-friendly.

Live events remain one of the most rewarding parts of our work. There is a unique buzz around seeing our experienced moderators take to the stage, guide a conversation and help an audience connect with important ideas. During London Climate Action Week, London based Brazilian presenter Juliana moderated an educational sustainability conference at The Gherkin in London, focusing on mobilising investment into large-scale forest restoration and sustainable bio-economy initiatives across Brazil.

This was a compelling example of the value a skilled moderator brings to a complex international discussion. Juliana’s background and Brazilian perspective were particularly relevant to the subject matter, while her presenting expertise helped create a focused and engaging environment for the conversation.

The best moderators do far more than introduce speakers. They understand the purpose of the event, prepare carefully, listen actively and make sure the discussion remains accessible to the audience. They also bring the confidence to manage transitions, respond to the unexpected and keep the programme moving.

“Emma-Louise is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is incredibly professional, engaging and natural in front of the camera, as well as being a genuinely lovely person to work alongside

Emma-Louise was also back in the studio, presenting some of our more traditional educational client content. Studio-based educational content demands precision, patience and the ability to communicate information clearly and naturally. Presenters often need to work from detailed scripts, tailor their delivery to different audiences and maintain energy, consistency and engagement across multiple takes. Just as importantly, they need to establish a sense of trust and credibility, particularly when the content is designed to inform, educate or support learners.

By working with a diverse pool of talent, our educational clients can access corporate specialists who bring the knowledge, experience and communication skills needed to make a wide range of subjects engaging, accessible and authentic.

Bringing the Summer to a memorable close, comedian Sanjeev Kohli hosted the Optometry Scotland Awards.

Sanjeev’s experience and personality made him a brilliant choice for the event. His involvement brought energy to the ceremony and helped create the sense of occasion that makes awards nights so memorable.

Awards events need a host who can combine professionalism with warmth, maintain the rhythm of the ceremony and ensure that every winner receives their moment in the spotlight. Hiring a comedian to host can bring an additional spark to the occasion, helping the evening feel relaxed and celebratory while keeping the programme on track.

From corporate recognition events to industry celebrations, the right awards host can make a significant difference. They help shape the atmosphere, connect the different parts of the evening and ensure guests feel engaged from the opening remarks to the final presentation
