Stuart Pearce also represented England on an international basis, representing them 78 times, with nine appearances as Captain; he played in both the World Cup and European Championships. Stuart moved from player to manager, becoming the main coach at Manchester City, before becoming the England U21’s Head Coach. In this position he took them to four successive U21 European Championships, reaching a semi-final and a final.
