Del has accumulated a diverse range of acting and hosting experience, including notable roles such as Hornigold’s pirate spokesman in the Netflix/ZDF Top 5 hit series The Lost Pirate Kingdom, co-pilot Jerry Smith in the international docudrama Air Crash Confidential Series 3 (Discovery Channel/Channel 9 Australia), and weatherman Joe Randall in the BBC 2 comedy Broken News, where he starred alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Indira Varma. He also made a brief appearance as a young police constable opposite Steve Coogan in ITV’s critically acclaimed Stephen (by Jed Mercurio), played an FBI informant in The Real Story of The Infiltrator (ITV Studios Global Entertainment/WMR 2019), and worked as a quiz and game show host on terrestrial channels FIVE, ITV 1, and STV (ITV 1 Scotland). Additionally, Del applies his extensive knowledge of gemstone jewellery as a presenter on Freeview’s TJC (The Jewellery Channel).
He has also hosted many corporate events and awards at Infosec London Olympia, London Excel, SEC Glasgow, Epsom Racecourse, London’s Congress Centre, MK Dons stadium and Celtic Manor.
At Infosec (London Olympia), Del presented a highly technical IT security segment for cybersecurity company Varonis and fronted the original Miss Great Britain London heat at West End nightclub “MAYA”. Del also toured with the new Channel 4 Home strand sponsor Hillary’s Blinds “Hillary’s Experience Expo 2018” roadshow – presenting to thousands across the UK.
It isn’t just presenting and acting that he loves; he is also an experienced composer and sound designer, having written music for many UK and international television projects. As a pianist and producer, he has written across a vast range of genres and also works as a professional audio-visual editor from his well-equipped studio.
