Pip Tomson has had a diverse career in television, starting in 2002 with ITV’s Central News in Birmingham. She then relocated to the North East to become a presenter for their regional news programme.

After completing a broadcast meteorology course, her versatility extended to weather presenting on GMTV and in the Tyne Tees and Border regions.

Her journey continued as she contributed to ITV’s breakfast show Daybreak and worked as a reporter for Sky News. In 2013, Pip returned to Daybreak, which changed its name to Good Morning Britain the following year.

She has twice received the Royal Television Society’s Best Presenter award for outstanding live outside broadcasts and studio presentations.
