Born in London, Jess Robinson always had a taste for the stage, and attended the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. Whilst still at school she had her first role, performing in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, requiring her to imitate Judy Garland, Julie Andrews, Marlene Dietrich, and Billie Holiday.

As well as her stage work, she has appeared on television, in Blue Peter, Spitting Image, Horrible Histories, BBC2’s Dead Ringers, CBBC’s The Slammer, The Zoo, and Noddy Toyland Detective, ITV’s Headcases, The Imitation Game, and The Last Leg, and BBC’s The Impressions Show with Culshaw and Stephenson. She has also worked on BBC Radio 7, the Disney Channel, and participated in the 11th series of Britain’s Got Talent. She has also voiced characters in a number of video games.

Her impressions include Adele, Angela Merkel, Billie Piper, Charlotte Church, Cheryl, Edith Piaf, Greta Thunberg, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ivanka Trump, Jacinda Ahern, Jan Ravens, Jon Culshaw, Kerry Katona, Kevin Connelly, Kim Kardashian, Konnie Huq, Liz Truss, Mark Perry, Melania Trump, Phil Cornwell, Stacey Solomon, Supernanny, and Taylor Swift.

During the COVID-19 crisis in 2020, she joined the supergroup ‘The Celebs’, alongside Frank Bruno and Sam Bailey, to raise money for Action for Children, and the Alzheimer’s Society. They released a new version of Merry Christmas Everyone and peaked at number two in the charts.

Jess also hosts the ‘Stars in Your Eyes’ Podcast, which won gold at the British Podcast Awards 2021 in the Best Entertainment category. In each episode of the podcast, Jess and her band impersonate the style of famous singers, and interview celebrity guests. These include Gareth Malone, Al Murray, Alex Horne, Rosie Jones, Ellie Taylor, and Stephen K Amos.
