Mark’s relaxed no-nonsense approach has made him a popular choice for presenting live TV and radio shows – from BBC’s Watchdog to C5’s Doctor Doctor and for chairing large conferences and symposia.
In the last year, Mark has chaired meetings for key opinion leaders in subjects as diverse as the Microbiome, HIV and Malaria at congresses across the world including Europe, USA and Africa.
Mark was appointed MBE in 2005 for his services to medicine.
Mark joined The One Show team and is responsible for investigating and presenting health & wellness related stories. The programme – presented by Alex Jones, Matt Baker and Chris Evans – is broadcast every weekday evening and attracts over 4 million viewers.
