Kunle has recently co-hosted his second series alongside Alan Titchmarsh of the ITV1 primetime show Love Your Home & Garden, where he has overseen the show’s property development and renovations whilst co-presenting with Alan.
He also became a contributing onscreen building expert to Sarah Beeny’s series for Really, Renovate, Don’t Relocate.
Boosted by the profile of the show, and his impeccable expertise, Kunle has become the main Host Presenter for Grand Designs Live and is a regular speaker at the Ideal Home Show live events where he draws crowds with his fantastic knowledge of all things to do with design and build. He has also become a regular contributing writer to Grand Designs Magazine every month.
A property developer in his own right, Kunle has bought and sold property both in the UK and abroad. His expertise has been recognised across the industry, hosting the RIBA London Awards, judged the International Property Awards and been keynote speaker at the IPAX Asia Pacific Awards.
Kunle has set up several successful companies including Illustrious Homes an award winning Construction and Design Management Company.
To date, the company has delivered over 8000 residential refurbishments, 120 Schools and 3 sports centre refits as well as countless private renovations. Kunle has also worked on many high-end projects such as the recently completed £100m West Hampstead Square development.
Kunle was also asked to deliver the high profile renovation on the military rehabilitation unit at Headley Court in Surrey which was opened by HRH Prince of Wales.
Kunle was recently chosen to co-present the new ITV1 primetime show ‘Love Your Home and Garden’ working alongside a fellow GREAT BRITISH SPEAKER, Alan Titchmarsh, so tune into ITV1 Wednesdays at 8 pm to see Kunle in action.
A committed social entrepreneur many of Kunle’s businesses offer opportunities for local residents to retrain and find new career paths. Kunle was personally commended by government leaders for his efforts to affect the lives of Londoners in a positive way.
Kunle is also a keen fundraiser for the homeless charity, CRASH, Kunle has raised over £15,000 for the charity running several marathons, triathlons, and even trekking to Everest Base Camp for good causes.
