An engaging and experienced presenter her video presenter CV includes fronting several factual series for ITV1 produced by Woodcut Media (Taste of the South, Flying Winemakers, Cathedral Cities and By Royal Appointment), doing celebrity interviews for BBC1’s Heaven and Earth Show, a decade selling holidays on TV channels including Thomson TV, Travel Deals Direct and Cruise 1st TV, CPD for The Accountancy Channel (Einstein Network) and in-house training, over many years, for sales teams at one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.
She fronted a Christmas Crafts DVD, in the ‘How to….’ series from Stitchcombe Productions with Woodcut Media. She’s known for her professionalism and friendliness, and particularly for putting interviewees at ease, enabling them to be relaxed and effective in what can seem like an unfamiliar, sometimes even alien-like environments!
As a radio presenter Hannah started her career on BBC Three Counties, in the seat for first the Breakfast Show, then Drivetime. In 2014-16 she presented the weekly interview show ‘Travellers Tales’ on Premier Christian Radio, winning the Jerusalem Award for Best Radio Strand in 2015 and a Sandford St Martin Award in the Interview of the Year category in 2016, and in 2019, interviewed people who’d been forced out of their homelands to settle in the UK in ‘Moving Stories’ for Premier and the Methodist church.
She has taken her work on radio to also become a very successful voiceover artist.
Hannah has been a BBC continuity announcer since 1997, first on BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Choice, then as a freelancer, 4 years as BBC Four’s announcer. Since 2006 she’s been heard globally as sole announcer for the TV channel BBC World News.
Equipped with a home studio, Hannah provides voiceovers for a range of broadcast, corporate and commercial clients, both in the UK and around the world. She’s been the voice of 118 118, Clearblue Pregnancy tests, the MOD, British Gas, JLL Property, Zenith car leasing and Unilever, amongst many others. In 2019, she narrated Royals on the Frontline for UKTV’s Yesterday channel, and the World’s Most Incredible Hotels, sold across the globe.
