David annually hosts the Personal Finance Society/Chartered Insurance Institute graduation events, a role he has held for fifteen years. Earlier this year (2024), he hosted an “in conversation” event with Dame Stella Rimington, the former Director General of MI5 and now an author, at Annabel’s Club. Recently, he has returned to his roots as an actor, engaging with directors, writers, and actors in groups to workshop plays and showcase events. His specialities include travel and property, and he excels at using an autocue. David is a great presenter who engages audiences with a comedic twist.

David’s media career began with Late Night Late, an innovative night-time service for TVS, where he also presented TVS News and later the arts and entertainment programme This Way Out. Moving to Granada Television, he presented the consumer affairs programme High Street, and the quiz show Brat Pack. He hosted Behind the Screen on BBC 2, Pick of the Week for the ITV Network, and co-hosted Espresso with Edwina Currie on Channel 5. For two years, he produced, directed, and presented corporate profiles for broadcast on CNBC, BBC World, and Star Asia.
David’s work as a live event corporate presenter has taken him to venues such as The London Palladium, Alexandra Palace, BAFTA, the Grosvenor House Hotel, and most recently, the National Gallery, where he hosted an anniversary event for the Overseas Chinese Banking Corporation.
