Her career began as a travel reporter, progressing to news presenting on local radio before moving to London for a five-year tenure at the BBC as a presenter. After the BBC, Cat joined Bloomberg Television, anchoring World News and covering international business and sports. She has also worked with prominent companies like AA Roadwatch, GWR Radio, Karma Resorts, and numerous other corporate clients.
