Radio and Podcast

Calum’s presenting journey began in community radio, where he hosted shows on his local radio network. His passion for radio continued while at university, where he volunteered for the university’s radio station. After taking a few years off to care for his grandmother, who was battling cancer, and during the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, Calum reentered the presenting world by launching a podcast. This podcast featured interviews with some of the UK’s biggest TikTok influencers and gained enough attention to secure him a role presenting at the British Motor Show. There, he had the opportunity to interview renowned sports stars like Phil Tufnell, Graeme Swann, and Martin Offiah.

Events Host

In recent years, Calum has expanded his presenting experience by working with different universities, presenting at several running festivals, hosting the Audio and Podcast Awards, and taking the stage at the Arnold Sports Festival. At the Arnold Sports Festival, he interviewed notable personalities such as Big Z, Adam Collard, and Giant from Gladiators.

Disability Awareness

As someone who suffers from motor tics, Calum uses this challenge as motivation, proving that a disability can make him an even stronger presenter. Having battled eating disorders for much of his life, Calum once believed his setbacks in securing jobs were due to his appearance, leading to struggles with weight and anorexia. Thankfully, he has recovered, driven by his passion for presenting and his determination not to let personal issues prevent him from pursuing his dreams. Although this is not a story Calum often shares, he believes it is important to raise awareness for others facing similar struggles and wishing to follow a similar career path.
