Johanna began her on-air career on the Emmy-winning nationally syndicated lifestyle show First Look on NBC. Her passion for entertainment and pop culture led her to co-host the popular music show Trending Ten on Fuse TV and appear on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live. She has also fronted multiple specials for MTV and covered red carpet premieres for major Hollywood film releases. More recently, she hosted The Download for ReachTV, a magazine-style programme highlighting the latest in film, television, music, and audiobooks for international audiences.

Alongside her entertainment work, Johanna has produced and presented documentary and current affairs programming. She created and hosted Refreshing Faith, a weekly half-hour programme exploring complex social issues through in-studio interviews and long-form storytelling.

Today, Johanna is a sought-after moderator and event host, leading conversations with global executives, creatives, and industry leaders at international conferences and festivals. Her moderation work includes Deloitte’s CMO in the Spotlight series at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, sessions for the international renewable energy conference Energyear, and hosting and moderating for Asmodee at the world’s largest board game convention, SPIEL Essen.

Johanna has also presented the Engineering Change Series for Embraer and hosted the company’s annual corporate event, bringing together global leaders from the aviation and engineering sectors.

Her work spans broadcast, branded, and corporate media, with projects for global brands including Dell, SAP, EY, Johnson & Johnson, Jaguar, Skype, and Refinitiv.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Johanna has lived and worked in Peru, California, and New York, and now resides in London. She holds a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside.
