National Inclusion Week speakers – find Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Speakers

Why is National Inclusion Week Important?

National Inclusion Week 2024 runs from the 23rd of September to the 29th of September and covers many themes – from gender equality, disability equality, racism and Black History, and LGBTQ+ rights.

Running for over a decade, National Inclusion Week was created as a means for inclusive companies to recognise and celebrate inclusion and diversity within the workplace, and to learn about inclusive cultures. The event highlights the importance of inclusion and gives employers the opportunity to openly discuss E,D & I concerns, and work towards building strong, diverse workplace teams.

National Inclusion Week Facts!

When it comes to the fact of race, Race Equality Matters states:

75% of ethnic minorities experience racism in the workplace.
1/3 of FTSE 100 companies have no ethnic minority board members.
Graduates from minority backgrounds are twice as likely to be unemployed 6+months after graduation.

Plus, statistics suggest that those from BAME backgrounds are also less likely to seek healthcare when needed, and struggle more during the cost of living crisis.

But, by creating diverse and inclusive workplaces, we offer the opportunity for employees to feel valued and be heard, and when people feel respected within the workplace, they are more likely to contribute better ideas and be more productive. Therefore a diverse team is more likely to bring more ideas to the table – one of which may just be your company’s next big success!

For this year’s National Inclusion Week our top E,D & I Speakers are available to hire to help you and your team be more supportive of inclusivity.

Find an Inspirational Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Speaker

At Great British Speakers, we’ve worked hard to secure a team of professional equality, diversity and inclusion speakers who are often booked by businesses and schools to give educational talks on topics such as gender equality, ethnic discrimination, disability, LGBTQ+ rights and religion.

Through their own experiences, our inclusion speakers share their motivational and often inspirational journeys.

So, if you’re running an event for National Inclusion Week then the team at Great British Speakers is here to help.
