Some of the biggest events on the Awareness Days calendar include International Women’s Day (March 8th) and Black History Month (October). Both have become pivotal for raising awareness of EDI concerns within society and the workplace.

We also focus on the importance of Mental Health, with World Mental Health Day (10th October) and Mental Health Awareness Week (12th – 18th May 2025), as well as International Men’s Day (November 19th), which is a powerful reminder for men to take care of their own health and mental well-being.

The calendar below includes all these and many more occasions. However, we know there are many more important awareness days than those we’ve listed, so we will continue to update our events calendar as often as possible to provide you with the latest event news and the best topical speakers on the circuit.

With the invention of social media, bullying moved off of the playground and into our houses. Children and young people now have several ways in which they can bully or can be bullied, and this will only rise as each generation comes along. Shockingly, bullying doesn’t end when school days. there’s a shocking amount of bullying happening in workplaces among adults and not everyone knows how to act against it. We have a range of speakers specialised in anti-bullying, either due to a professional interest or a personal experience, who are more than happy to talk about their story in order to educate the young and old.

Featured Speaker – Alex Staniforth | Anti-Bullying Week Speakers

Alex Staniforth is no stranger to overcoming adversity. In 2017 he became the fastest person ever to climb all 100 UK county tops by bicycle, foot and kayak, covering over 5,000 miles in 72 days. By the age of 25, he had already attempted to summit Mount Everest twice and survived two days trapped in the 2015 Nepal earthquake.

The adventurer and mental health advocate has authored two books and founded the mental health charity, ‘Mind Over Mountains’ after overcoming his own crippling anxiety from bullying and a stammer, which would lead to poor mental health and an eating disorder. He is now dedicated to helping others to climb their own ‘Everest’.
