THE APPRENTICE
In 2013, Luisa Zissman rose to fame as the runner-up on BBC’s The Apprentice. At the time, she was running three businesses with a turnover of around £3 million, had a large office and warehouse, and a shop in St Albans with 40 staff working for her.
After narrowly missing out on Lord Sugar’s investment, she did a round of fundraising with investment platform Angels Den and secured funding for her ‘Bakers Toolkit’, an add-on to her other existing businesses including Dixie’s Cupcakery, and The Baker Shop.
MEDIA
Following on from her popular turn on The Apprentice, Luisa appeared on the 13th series of Celebrity Big Brother. The audience loved her honest approach and she finished in fourth place. Following the show, she joined the presenting team as the roving reporter, and appeared on Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side (2013-18), interviewing housemates and fronting the programme’s online content. In 2014, just one year after bursting onto the public scene, Luisa won the National Reality TV Award for Best Personality of the Year.
Since then, she has regularly appeared on panel and news shows such as The Wright Stuff (2014), Britain’s Got More Talent (2015-16), Reality Bites (2015), Loose Women (2017), Good Morning Britain (2018), This Morning (2014-20), Pointless Celebrities (2018), and Celebrity Haunted Mansion (2018). She even had a cameo role in Sharknado 5 (2017)! She is also a regular guest and co-host on Radio 4 Live’s The Sarah Brett Show.
