She stared her career when she was just 14 years old and went on to star in BBC’s UKOOL, dance on Top of the Pops, sang on Spirit of Youth and BBC Radio Scotland, became the official Edinburgh Fringe Festival advert poster girl, performed at the UK premier of The Hot Mikado, and toured the UK in West Side Story.
She was offered a scholarship onto the prestigious Musical Theatre Course at the Dance School of Scotland, and the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts Diploma Course in London.

Ali’s passion and commitment for her profession drives her to learn and excel in new skills required for any given role, such as accomplishing an Accredited Jewellery Professional qualification with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), to underline her credibility with her audience and is currently undertaking her Diploma in Journalism with the NCTJ, specialising in sport for her presenting role at The 146th Open at Royal Birkdale.
Having trained as a professional actress, Ali’s has been seen on DAVE, BBC Scotland and currently plays Kim in SmarTrike commercials in the USA. She has performed in musicals including Rent, Carousel, Sweet Charity, and in the Barbican Christmas Carol concert.
