Louisa presents live in the studio for the national and international BBC News and reports live on location as a news correspondent. She broke news in the studio as Russia invaded Ukraine, updating news lines, and giving analysis. Louisa reported throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and appears live on BBC Breakfast regularly.
Louisa is as comfortable reporting from the studio as she is out on location. She is a former news anchor for Sky News and Sky Sports News and a former presenter and news correspondent for ITV News, where she won a Gold national award for reporting in 2016.
Louisa is a qualified journalist, with an NCTJ qualification and 2:1 BA in English Literature and History, from the University of Southampton. She started in journalism by gaining a place as a graduate trainee reporter for the Daily Mirror newspaper.
