Liliane Daoud’s journalism career has seen her present for a number of broadcasters. Between 2000 and 2004, she worked as a producer, presenter, and reporter for the Arab News Network, and The Associated Press. Whilst at the AP as a communication strategist, she orchestrated effective communication strategies to streamline internal and external communications for operational teams. She has carried out on-screen interviews with reporters and editors, covered breaking news stories, reported from location on political developments in the UK, and covered subjects such as the homeless, open markets, museums, and festivals.
In 2005, she went on to work for the BBC World Service as a senior broadcaster journalist, presenting programmes such as Talking Point and Unspoken for BBC Arabic TV, presented live programmes for BBC XTRA radio, travelled across the UK and the Middle East for specific themed programmes, and covered the 2008 American Elections. Whilst working for the BBC, she produced and hosted award-nominated talk shows that facilitated discussions on pressing topics round the globe.
After this, she joined ONTV and became the presenter of their popular political talk show; this was followed by a five-year stint at the Alaraby TV Network as a senior broadcast journalist.
As a news anchor, she has delivered captivating content through various mediums, including talk shows, news bulletins, and interactive programs. As well as appearing on screen, she contributes strategic insights to enhance digital media offerings and expand audience reach.
As well as her presenting work, Liliane is a freelance trainer and advisor, conducting advanced courses in media relations, and strategic public affairs, in both English and Arabic. She provides coaching and advisory services, empowering individuals and teams to excel in media presentation and public discourse, and hosted public events and discussions. She founded the ONA Academy for media training, the first of its kind in Egypt, training journalists on presenting skills and journalism ethics.
