Jamie is a popular children’s presenter and has been gracing our screens with upbeat hi-jinx for over a decade.
In the corporate arena, he also has great experience as a demonstrator and presenter at numerous product launches. No stranger to live event work, the outrageously adorable face of Nickelodeon is also the eponymous star of ‘Jamie & Anna’s Big Weekend’ and summer hit ‘Camp Orange’. Jamie also hosted the Judo at The London Olympics 2012.
He joined Nickelodeon in 2010 after five year’s as presenter and host of CITV’s number 1 weekend show, ‘Toonatik’. In addition to his work for children’s TV, Jamie has been the presenter 52 times for the Ultimate Guinness World Records show – which is still showing on Sky and internationally. He has also featured on several VTs for GMTV and Daybreak.
With an abundance of live event host experience, he has covered red carpet events, been presenter for the Children’s BAFTAs, appeared in successful pantomimes across the country and presented live in front of 22,000 fans at SkyFest.
After achieving his BA Honours Music & Drama degree, Jamie embarked on the career that would lead him to be a successful television presenter. He started out as researcher and celebrity booker on Michael Barrymore’s ‘My Kind of Music’, ‘Kids say the Funniest Things’, ‘An Audience with the BeeGees’ and ‘An Audience with The Spice Girls’.
Jamie finally got his break as a television presenter in 2000 when he joined GMTV as producer and presenter of the popular weekend kids show ‘Up on the Roof’. He also landed the role of presenter on CBBC’s game show, ‘All or Nothing’ and in 2003, became presenter on CITV’s factual entertainment programme ‘The Yuk Show’.
Jamie is also a talented pianist with a classical music degree and owned the large film orchestra in the UK.
