David is a four-times Sony Radio Award winner, including the coveted Gold Award for Best Breakfast Show in Britain. He’s been on the air for over thirty years on stations including, LBC, Talksport, Magic, Heart and BBC London. He currently hosts the weekday breakfast programme on BBC Radio Oxford.
Behind the camera David has appeared as a pundit on SKY News, ITV News and Daily Politics. He also hosted Rockmania, a late night music show on the ITV Network.
An accomplished writer, his work has featured in The Times, Guardian, Daily Express and Jerusalem Post. He’s also an Amazon Kindle best-selling author. His first novel, The Blood Banker reached number 3 in the Amazon UK Kindle Thrillers Chart.
Away from writing and broadcasting, David has worked in the music business and in marketing. In the early 90’s he formed a venture with Pete Waterman’s PWL Records that delivered combined sales of 10 worldwide No. 1 singles and albums.
His company Brandspanking, produced branded content for companies including Ocado, DSG, IKEA and Cadbury. He was also co-founder of politicsondemand, a business that conceived and produced the first podcasts for Tony Blair and 10 Downing street, as well as the first podcasts for Labour, the Libdems and Conservatives.
David has run a one day lecture ISBA ( Incorporated Society of British Advertisers) on making the most out of Branded Content and more recently hosted a Digital Futures conference for Global Marketing Directors.
His areas of expertise include politics, media and marketing, the digital future, entrepreneurship and health/ fitness, (he completed his first half marathon last year)
