If you need a versatile presenter specialising in music, feminism or fashion, then take a look at Tina’s reel.
Never short of enthusiasm, she was scouted by ITN producers, Jamie Scott and Jonathan Pascoe to the voice-over artist for Heat’s ‘Huge News’, writing funny and news-breaking scripts for both Heat TV and 4music. She’s now currently creating waves as the witty entertainment presenter and host of Balcony TV (Balconytv.com): ‘Music Sessions on London Live’, the Evening Standard’s new channel.
No stranger to working with high profile names, she has worked with the likes of Jessie J and Mumford and Sons. Confident with ad-libbing, autocue and scripts, Tina is a very accomplished broadcast presenter who is able to engage young, live audiences. Having been event host for over 30 events at venues from Whisky Mist to Great Escape Festival, her vivacious style excites crowds to create an electrifying atmosphere. Tina has written for a number of music and lifestyle magazines including Spindle (circulation 20,000), London Jazz News, Jazz UK and industry magazine Broadcast. All quite fitting really, as Tina studied Music and Lifestyle Journalism at UCA, where she now lectures in Broadcast.
Tina’s journalistic credentials expand to the screen and radio, too. Not only is she the founder and host of highly-regarded online radio show Jazz Standard, but thanks to her involvement with the Women’s Institute, she’s commentated on feminist issues on BBC Newsnight, BBC Radio London, and numerous other regional radio stations. Her online ventures as a presenter stretch to being an ambassador for the No More Page 3 campaign, interviewing the likes of Caroline Quentin and Gemma Chan. She is also an active committee member of the Shoreditch Sisters WI and in talks with the BBC regarding a documentary on the WI’s upcoming 100 year anniversary.
You’ll also find Tina as a radio presenter and producer for her own jazz show on Hoxton Radio. With a great knowledge of music, she’s able to give fascinating commentary on the music industry and rising talents. Tina doesn’t just talk about music; she’s also a trained singing teacher.
If you’re looking for a presenter or an event host with an edge, Tina is a great choice for you.
