Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week is held annually to increase awareness of the condition and unite those living with MS, along with their supporters, to share their experiences and break the silence surrounding it.
In recent years, the campaign has focused on how MS impacts various aspects of daily life, including employment, relationships, mental health, sex, and parenting. By highlighting real-life experiences and scientific research, Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week encourages open conversations about symptoms, diagnosis, and life with MS.
We estimate there are over 150,000 people with MS in the UK, and that nearly 7,100 people are newly diagnosed each year. – MS Society
