After returning from Vancouver clutching what was to be the only British medal won at the Winter Olympics in 2010, Amy Williams became the first British solo champion for 30 years, and the first female winner for 58 years. However, injury cut short her quest to defend this title and Amy retired from Skeleton in May 2012.

Following her sporting success, Amy has forged a successful career, in both the corporate and broadcast worlds. A regular guest presenter on BBC Ski Sunday, Amy headed to the Sochi Olympic Games 2014, as a Team GB mentor and BBC Presenter, providing critically acclaimed coverage from the Games on the BBC.
Upon her return, Amy was signed as the new female presenter for Channel 5’s primetime hit ‘The Gadget Show’, and joined the team in April 2014, not long after original female presenter Suzi Perry stepped down.
